Taming That Backyard Slope – September 2017

This project was chosen for a featured project because we felt that the landscape of this yard was something that many backyards in the Pacific Northwest struggle from. Before our design this backyard had about a 300 sqft. of usable space from the point where the entire yard severely sloped down to the fence line. Using methods to retain the soils around the new patio area and building up the backside of the fire pit area, we created a living space where one could not exist before! Now that 300 sqft. area of grass and sloping lawn is over 800 sqft. of beautiful outdoor living space! Oh, and we added some bells and whistles to on the deck as well!
